Fellows may participate in these projects, and they are also encouraged to design and carry out additional projects of their own choosing. Funding for well-designed projects is available through the Allegheny Heart Institute, a non-profit research entity associated with Allegheny General Hospital.

In this collaborative project with CMU, we are using sophisticated computer models of aortic aneurysms with the goal of improving the ability to predict rupture.
